Compare and Contrast Critique

While creating the re-make of this piece I wanted to make sure that the style was different, but I wanted to stay in the cubism realm. They both share cubism elements, and the basic forms are still there. The shapes are a little different, but the stance of the two individuals are the same. Each painting has it's own colors, and mine is darker because I wanted the mood to be different. The biggest difference between the two is the blocky shapes versus the round shapes. I tried going for a more unique look, rather than sticking with "good old fashioned cubism".
