Subjective Critique

When I first look at this painting, I think it isn't very unique because other artists have done this type of cubism style with humans before. There are a ton of paintings like this one, and even with football players. I do not like this piece because the roundness is overdone. The arms are too round, and the shoulders are way too round. The faces look sad, but the colors and tone of the painting suggest happiness. Over all I think it is just confusing to look at. It is a bad kind of simple.  If I were to change this painting, I would make the colors a bit darker, remove the background and use a different type of cubism than this.
